I have a question and please forgive my lack of knowledge on this topic.

If we have had 6.2 Billion shares A/S, why didn't we acquire Vortex for 2 billion shares out of the A/S?  Thus, not to increase the overall share count?  As I know it, the A/S is available to the market,but not actually trading...  The O/S is what is currently trading, right?  

Just trying to understand this.  Thanks
