I am not a Catholic but our church and my wife and I try to observe lent every year. We try to give up something from tomorrow till Easter. Think of something you could sacrifice for about 40 days-cigarettes, whiskey, candy, cokes, cussing, road rage , ice cream, sweets, etc. Giving up watermelons doesn't count. Jesus gave His life for you-surely you can give up something. Just a thought.   JB
