As of right now, I would whole heartily agree, the timing sux.
However, if it turns out, as we all think it will, that this is the stage upon which all great deeds are to be displayed; then, it makes perfect sense to get the bad news out of the way first and then dive into the great news.
So we wait. What is the great news that is coming? We don't know. We only can speculate. But, given the value they place on the preferred C shares in September, I am guessing it is probably pretty good.
