how many of u have invested money u cant afford to lose and why?

im long and look forward to further developments down the road, however do people really invest serious money they cant afford to lose in pinks?

im in for a couple of grand but wont miss if the entire enterprise tanks......is it wise to put so much stock on any pink stock?
