They are a "business development company" (venture capital firm) that specializes in financing small biotechs and tech companies. They got whacked today because their CEO said he'd rather hang on to his cash instead of investing in bad companies. I consider this a huge plus that he won't be bullied into deploying cash in investments he doesn't believe in, so I bought more on this weakness.
