My take on the latest news...
is that this will provide Treaty with the maximum amount of immediate revenue to provide stability for the company. I will guess that in the not-so-distant future, they will again begin retaining working interest in the higher producing wells.
We all know they are cash strapped and this provides a way out of it, while bringing in the cash to fund additional drilling. I believe the recipe has merit and will prove to have been a logical decision.
Perhaps I am wrong, but I believe this news is not anywhere as bad as some are making it out to be. Time will tell.
