Request the connection (plus I'm following him).  When you connect your thread automatically gets populated with his posts.  Just tell him you're a shareholder and I'm sure he'll gladly accept.  Took about 15 minutes for him to accept my request (there's an area that allows you to type a small message to him when asking for the connection).

Linkedin is all about connecting, so I'm sure he would love to have all interested shareholders connect with him.
