Lindon Group Inc. and Alternative Hydrogen Solutions, LLC Announce US Army-Funded Testing of Alternative Hydrogen Solution's Hy-Impact System
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI--(Marketwired - Feb 21, 2014) - Lindon Group Inc. and Alternative Hydrogen Solutions, LLC (AHS) are pleased to announce the commencement of a U.S. Army Program Management-Mobile Electric Power (PM-MEP) funded evaluation of Alternative Hydrogen Solution's Hy-Impact Unit. The Department of Defense (DoD) is interested in hydrogen's potential to reduce the emissions of diesel exhaust particulates while improving fuel consumption and engine performance. As a result of this interest, the DoD has funded and outlined a test program assessing the Hy-Impact Unit's effect on mobile diesel generators (aka gensets). Lindon Group believes the Hy-Impact unit will be able to assist the DoD reduce its carbon footprint. Successful results of the test will give the Hy-Impact Unit an important 3rd party verification and validation of its ability to reduce harmful exhaust emissions and improve fuel economy in combustion engines. The testing is on schedule to be completed by the end of spring, 2014. AHS and the Lindon Group reported in a combined statement, "We feel the results of this testing will validate the effectiveness of the Hy-Impact Unit's technology and potential benefits across many industries." To date, the Lindon Group Inc. has represented AHS on this endeavor and will continue to be the principle point of contact for the DoD going forward.
