Re: Agent 0001 #24569
FINRA probably didn't need too much encouragement to look cross-eyed at mmj upstarts.

FINRA is a private corporation, the largest independent securities regulator in the US, a self-regulating organization. How a private corporation can act in good faith as an SRO is a good question, especially, when the securities firms and broker-dealers FINRA regulates are the ones funding FINRA to the tune of $900 million per year. No wonder FINRA is apparently blind to the continual market maker deception and thievery that you and others here pinpoint with laser accuracy. The MMs are paying their share for those lavish FINRA digs and parties!

FINRA says their "chief role is to protect investors by maintaining the fairness of the U.S. capital markets." The next biggest laugh comes with their MMJ stock alert of August 13, 2013. It reads like a gossip column. FINRA didn't even name the four companies they were panting to warn investors about. How did that "protect investors"?

FINRA uses the wrong acronym. FARCE fits better by far.
