even if there were, it would not affect the governments ability to limit nation wide funding.  if it were only traded on a state wide exchange, it would be different, but congress has the ability to regulate state to state trade. technically if its not FDA approved, they could put a direct halt on the sale at any time as a drug or medical device because by law any drug sold as a treatment for anything in the united states has to pass FDA approval.  including "herbal remedies" but what concernes me is not the halting of the sales, its the seizure of profits and all money involved in the transaction of interstate commerce. including stock exchanges. which would mean that the irs could literally freeze assets it believes are related to the sale of controlled substances untill you prove they were not
