I think they won't release news until the money is in the bank this time. Considering what Kinross did, I'd guess they have only really been interested in negotiating the sale of the mines with large mining companies - with market capitalisations in the multi billions and share prices well above $10.00.

Mining companies might play all kinds of strategy games in negotiations, bit they sure won't deny signing a contract like Kinross did!
