Producing oil and gas is simple really. It takes more pressure at the beginning to push the oil, water, and gas through to the end. If you don't have enough pressure for the fluid then you have to use a pump. If you don't have enough pressure for the gas you have to use a compressor. Chokes and valves do the rest.
