Big bids were disappearing faster than steaks down a wolf's gullet. There was a 500,000 bid that barely lasted a second or two on the way down. Other large bids similarly devoured in the raising of panic and the breaking of .04 at all cost. A fleeting ask wall or two for good measure. Like you said, it was a precision job.
