Re: Little Wiggs #11667

Little Wiggs, to my knowledge the only commercial size prototype was the ATH.  The ATH was a half size unit built to prove out the concept as well as the capabilities of this technology.  The ATH proved more successful than anyone had imagined, and articles about its capabilities were published around the world.  However, that machine was sold to reduce debt, and no mention of it is found anywhere today.  When I contacted Peter Meier, Jason Novak, and Lonnie Hayward, all told me the ATH is no longer available.  This could mean it is used for some other purpose, or it could mean the unit was not maintained and is no longer functional.  For a time, Beaver Industries in Canada stored some components (I think mainly booms), but I am not certain if any of these components are still around or even owned by Hollund.  What is most interesting (to me) is that the ATH was as much a manual machine as it was automated, and still it out performed all expectations.
