I wasn't going to post about PrintRite3D components but I thought engineers might be interested.
PrintRite3D has acoustic, thermal, and video monitors. Look at the specs:

In this study, Sigma Labs used a high speed video recorder for their IPQA demonstration for the Air Force:

There is a 228 study written by Hongping Gu titled, "Real-time Monitoring and Adaptive Control of CO2 Laser Beam Welding" that showed the combination of acoustic emission & optical monitoring having 98% accuracy (page 201).

The fact that PrintRite3D has acoustic, thermal, and high resolution camera is very interesting.
Geeky...yeah, but it's what I do and I find all the studies about IPQA very interesting.
