I agree that the first sale will not necessarily set a standard. Although the costs of the individual processors should remain fairly consistent, I believe different operators will have different needs and processing variables that will be negotiated.
I disagree with the general statement that the first adopter will get a discount. Some companies will pay a premium to be the early adopter for a number of reasons. Those reasons include branding and marketing, a competitive advantage over the competition and increased profit margins/saving.
JBI / P2O can provide a multiple of benefits to the early adopter. From the AGM, Mr. Heddle said (paraphrasin) they would select the best candidate. This is how it should be with this type of groundbreaking tech. I just hope they don't screw it up.
