A friend of mine likes good beer. I asked him why he doesn't grow the barley, plant the hops, reap the harvest, process the ingredients, and brew his own beer, not forgetting to use water he triple filtered for the mash. He said it's much cheaper, easier, and far less time consuming to buy six bottles of Guinness Extra Stout at the corner store in his neighborhood when he's so inclined. I was shocked!
