Re: The Lieutenant #1947
A few comments on my last post:
1. By "tickets" I mean "plane tickets" (this was not going to be the superbowl or some charity event - it was to be a bunch of guys [who are way out of my league] shooting the breeze, so to speak).
2. I am not sure of the terms of the funding. It didn't seem like it would be purchasing shares, or even dumping 5 million into Baltia's bank account - but it sounded more like some kind of an equity line of credit type thing - where Baltia could come to the group, explain the expense and the reasons for the capital request, and then these guys would authorize payment of the bill. Nothing like a hostile take-over type thing, but more along the lines of a tightly controlled loan on an as needed basis. The terms he used was that his group would "make available up to $5 million to see this thing through"....followed immediately after that about holding Igor to "capping authorized shares".
From my conversation, I am most definitely going to reconsider my 10 cent exit strategy, and just might stick around a little longer. It's not that I am flip flopping on my decisions - it is just that the facts have most recently and very significantly taken a huge change for the better.....especially knowing that Igor is going to have someone professional overseeing where this new found money is going to be spent.
