Minnesota in winter is what is referred to as: "when hell freezes over"!   When I was a kid I worked on the Great Lakes ore boats (before the Edmund Fitzgerald went down).  One year I was on a US Steel ship that laid up for winter at the Mesabe docks in Superior/Duluth and worked on the engines until Christmas.  It was the coldest I've ever felt in my life.

If anyone is suited for enjoying that place is must be Norwegians and Tibetans who have the genetic predisposition.  And a good liquor cabinet!!!!!!!
