Yeah I've been thinking about this a lot lately.  Now it makes sense to me that they needed to be fully operational (Pharmajanes) before the name change.  Once this ship is fully functional, that's when name change/public awareness happens. It actually makes a lot more sense to me the more I think about it, but it should happen immediately and thunderously upon PJ function.
