GOWEX Free Wi-Fi arrives at the Belgian city of Liege

The alliance between GOWEX and the Belgian operator Win, will allow Liege 200,000 citizens plus all visitor of the city enjoy the benefits of a Wireless Smart City.

GOWEX landed in Liege, which will be the Company's entry into new Belgian cities and the rest of the continent.

Madrid, January 28, 2014 - . GOWEX ( GOW -MAB, NYSE Alternext ALGOW , LGWXY OTC Market), leader company in creating Smart Cities Wi-Fi (Wireless Smart Cities ® ) continues to expand its international business model and will manage the Wi-Fi network of the Belgian city of Liege. Thanks to the strategic agreement signed last February with Win, operator and integrator of leading ICT services in Belgium, the nearly 200,000 residents and the visitors of this Walloon Capital will enjoy the benefits of a Wireless Smart City.

The pioneer bet in matter of collaboration in public-private partnerships for the development of Wi-Fi networks driven by GOWEX, demonstrate as an ideal solution and makes the Company close to its strategic goal: reach 300 reference cities worldwide in a medium term. Regarding this, all the agreements with operators and local partners- as it is the case of Win- are an important foundation for the growth and accelerate the arrival of new cities and new projects. For GOWEX, Europe is a cornerstone of growth and wants to be present in Belgium, the decision-making country in the euro area, in a time of economic recovery in the old continent.

Smart Wi-Fi Zones

In the first phase, there will be ten areas that will have free Wi-Fi and smart GOWEX services, all located in tourist and commercial interest points, such as the Cathedral Square, Saint Lambert Square, Saint- Jean , the Esplanade Guillemins and others.
To access free Internet, users only need to detect the network with their mobile devices (smart phones, tablets, etc). Once connected, the users will access a portal in which they will have to register and receive validation before they can start enjoying the service. Once registered, they will receive a user name and password that will help them to connect to the network as many times as they want and also allows them to connect for free in more than 80 GOWEX Wi-Fi cities around the world (Paris, San Francisco, Madrid, New York, etc.).
Next phases of the development will include the different intelligent services based in Wireless smart technology that GOWEX is developing in all its projects and that allow to reduce costs to the administration while they do sustainable the network
