Pot Could Surpass Hottest-selling Pharmaceuticals
Marijuana could become the best-selling legal drug in the United States in the next decade.
Last fall, Colorado and Washington became the first states to legalize recreational use of marijuana, not just medicinal use.
With polls showing more and more Americans favoring legalization, San Francisco-based ArcView Market Research says 14 other states could go the legalization route.
Right now, the legal marijuana market accounts for about $1.44 billion a year in sales, but it could hit $10 billion within five years.
