Sociedad Maje Drue S.A. is another company that it seems will harvest waterwood from Lake Bayano. I find a reference to an environmental impact study dated 12/5/13 for them for the extraction of wood submerged in Lake Bayano and in their articles of incorporation the objective is clearly stated as the removal of snags. I don't know how to find the EIS itself and don't know anything else about that. There is another group of natives on Lake Bayano, the Embrera, that it could be through.

The only other reference I have found to a relevant EIS is one for the Kuna of Madugandi dated 7/30/12. The project title is "Project of Social Interest Extraction of Snags" and the 'Empresa' or company it is for is the General Congress Kuna of Madugandi Community Through Clear Waters. I don't know how to find that either, but it is probably the EIS which sanctions BLWP's concession - the date seems to make sense.
