Dallas, TX - (01/22/2014) ? Republic of Texas Brands, Inc. (OTC.PK: RTXB - News) has announced that it has cancelled and returned to treasury 1,976,000,000 common shares of common stock . This brings the number of shares outstanding to 702,433,700. We anticipate cancelling another 500,000,000 million shares very soon lowering the number of outstanding shares to 202,433,700 with approximately ninety million shares in the float. As most are aware we are in a chapter 11 reorganization and we are preparing to file a reorganization plan soon.
