finally show the ship on marinetraffic after several previous "no records found" over the days - dont know cargo -didnt see on port schedule last looked -not too unusual-most ships u can tell by name are containers even without the ubiquitous "express"
dont know the countries Brad may have developed contacts w over years -but AcelorMittal was one steelmaker -
dont know whether hes promised 1st dibs or whether following up on Bao- Chinese are too difficult to negotiate with for some, so just dont know- when the permits are published by final Mex channel they snake thru we will see what countries he has on permit-whether he's added any- I dont have the Mexican site on that so Clark or Iggy who usually do be sure to follow up on that
over 58000 DWT and pretty deep draught of 11.3 m compared to some of that size, so may portend favorably,as domestic Cabotage terminal limited to 12.5 m draft vs EIT of 14.5m, so the bigger the ship /draft ,more likely it would be for terminal CWRN uses- since coming from outside Mex should be for EIT, though we saw a recent exception to that logic -
and major competing bulk materials are wheat- odd time of yr for that, even though Iron Kovdor recently left w wheat, and scrap metal -but thats usually a specific Japanese line and this ship is not of said line -or could be something unusual like barium -as in a recent ship to Stockton CA from a prior Mex port
