The NSS theory is just that...a theory. The reportable short position on OTCMARKETS is only updated every two weeks or so, and it is currently showing only 5K short. Real time short numbers, or NSS matters cannot be found in any data base for penny stocks. That being said, the company has been informed a few times of the possibility of an NSS type scenario in their stock.
They can request three reports...NOBO, OBO, and a DTCC report (very detailed). From these three bits of information they can see everything that is occurring with their stock to include who, what, and where. Will they do this? I'm not sure. They may already have a handle on the situation.
The action could be large accounts taking profits at a resistance point as well where they know they can dump some blocks (that's an understatement eh! (LOL)).
Company execution will drive the PPS. Lots and lots of folks holding this issue for the long haul to see how the business developes both short and long term.
We pop 10 on a run and we're off to much higher trading ranges. This issue is woefully undervalued based on growth.
