You keep speaking of The Smell of Telecom in the morning. Well let me tell you a story - which has repeated itself at numerous different locations.

In the telecom world, you usually have a few personnel assigned to install teams and some on programming teams. Well my buddy and I ( I will call him Dano, because that is his name). Well let me tell ya - Dano is of German and Mexican decent and he loves to wake up his team by silently letting out a morning bust of freshness every time we get placed into a small telecom closet or Computer room. Well he would always clear the room after the wonderful gift he would astow upon us. And as we all left the room or I would always run, he would always laugh and say "I just love the smell of Telecom in the mornings"

So everytime you say that, I just smile and remember the past times when we were young and stupid...
