Spiceman, I spent some of the weekend looking online around Panama and the lake Bayano area. I looks like while only 75 miles or so from the panama canal, it is really almost in the wilderness. I found one highway and only a couple of other roads.  I don't know how long ecotimber has been down there but I could not find their operations. slow going it looks like to me anyway.
