Rules for certificates for Scottrade. NO FEES, but looks like some signatures and paperwork requiered.
Deposit Stock Certificates Into Your Brokerage Account
- Drop off a signed stock certificate or transfer stock from an existing brokerage account to deposit your stock shares into your Scottrade account
- Your local Scottrade team will help you find the correct paperwork required based on your account type
- There is no fee to deposit stock certificates or transfer stock into your Scottrade account unless the stock cannot be held at Scottrade (e.g. foreign stock)
