MMJ threatens BP's business model of hawking new and expensive problematic drugs to hundreds of millions of already pharmaceutically saturated bodies and minds. There are even drugs to attenuate other drugs. Most of the mass shooters were on one or more  BP psychiatric drugs. Industry happy to front billions in total to doctors to push their new concoctions. BP are like market makers. They don't know how to make an honest buck.
