the convoluted topo resulting from ancient volcanoes is at least in this area a good sign for iron -I like mountains anyway -lot more interesting than flat plateau and the up and down topo serves as an aid in determining where the iron is imo, as I used to detail
follow the San Vicente R from its delta just S of Erendira (where just N of erendira Navial plans a shiploading station) to junction w 1st river-Guadalupe river which forms Baja 14 N's east border,w Baja 14 N beginning a short way up the river as we've seen in pics-the River goes straight N ca 7 mi to junction w hwy 1- which u can see if look carefully -Baja's interstate and a straight shot to Ensenada ca 55 or more miles distant
really is a good location for a mine-as their website geological report used to report, they searched for mines within 60-100 mi of port-lot closer than many mines are to port,and outcropping tested up to 67% and low sulfur etc, very little rain, summer temps moderated by proximity to ocean 7-10 miles away and incredible winter weather-mining only interrupted by weather up to ca 6-10 days /year-much better than Brazil and N Australia
these presumed govt aerial flyover iron survey topo maps must be the chief tool the govt uses to determine where to allow iron concessions and likewise used by miners in helping decide where to buy a concession
