I was in sales for many years. To be a good salesman is to be a good purchaser. Essentially...buying is the purest form of selling and I had to know where to buy from in order to achieve the highest margin. Sometimes I went outside usual channels and paid higher freight(LTL) in order to get what I needed.
Others always said that price was the most important factor your target considered(client/customer). I disagreed.....because I felt that the most important factor a target considered was eliminating any pain. This went beyond price.
This attests here in the OTC market. Many have day jobs or are in school..etc..etc. Many have a small amount of money that they can allocate and have limited time(be it patience)....maybe a bit afraid of losing money...et al....running scared. Nothing wrong with that. This is why I will take the time and study things(data..etc). I see my target's pain and I know where to buy. You are the target(my customer)..as well as my "Vendor".
Because "Buying" is the purest form of "Selling".
Think about that and apply such in your life.
