We are also investigating a new regenerative medicine approach that uses the patient’s own stromal vascular fraction (SVF) cells —a blood component rich in stem cells , which can help stimulate the regeneration of healthy tissue. The SVF cells we will be using are obtained from blood vessels in the patient’s adipose (fat) tissue through a process that uses high-frequency ultrasound to break up the fat tissue, then separates out the SVF cells using a centrifuge.
