D E A has ruled that cannabis and THC are Schedule I. THC is the only specific cannabinoid listed. Cannnabis is a plant. Therefore, they have absurdly classified all cannabinoids derived from the plant as Schedule 1 despite the fact the same govt says cannibinoids are "useful" as treatments for a wide range of diseases. This directly contradicts Schedule 1 classification of cannabis under the regulation. The absudity multiplied when D E A classified synthetic THC (Marinol), disagreeable to most patients, as Schedule II. Not to mention that D E A says U.S. hemp oil is banned, but imported hemp oil is just fine. Still trust alphabet agencies with your lives, health, and wallets?

The cannabinoids are found to have particular application as neuroprotectants, for example in limiting neurological damage following ischemic insults, such as stroke and trauma, or in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and HIV dementia. Nonpsychoactive cannabinoids, such as cannabidiol, are particularly advantageous to use because they avoid toxicity that is encountered with psychoactive cannabinoids at high doses..."
