On the dance floor!!!!
In the best dance floor bar in my home town
in s-central Indiana.
People came in from surrounding counties and Indianapolis.
I could move a few feet with one swivel foot at a time in either direction
or even in a circle.
Yahoo DuDe! hee hee.

I use to drive my 66 T-Bird around to small towns and dance to
get a date for the night with a local girl.  Nice ;-)

The bar at one point hired touring go go girls.
Originals like on TV. No lap dances - no touch - no tips.
But the town fathers told the owner he would lose his license
if he didn't get rid of them. He got rid of them.
Scared the willies out of the family men small town family politicians.
The bar went back to touring bands.
All in all not a bad place for a small town of 17,000 souls. 1960's & 70's

I was carded by a new bar maid on my 21st birthday.
I had been going in for two years. The owner was pissed at first about that.
He would keep nasty warm pabst blue ribbon in the back for me.
