Re: Spiceman #8505

Spiceman, a forward split is typically a good thing for shareholders.  However, a forward split makes no sense for Hollund with the current share structure.  Typically, a company will utilize a forward split to open up (increase the number of) shares for interested investors who otherwise might not be able or willing to purchase higher priced shares.  Besides, a company can do a forward or reverse split without any choice offered to shareholders (in the case of a reverse split, companies generally do not want shareholders to know until it is all said and done).  So whatever is planned, it must be something unusual for this end of the market.  Offering shareholders a seat at the table might just do the trick if that is what Hollund intends to do.
