Looks like even the big boys get clogged oil wells and takes time to unclog it:
NEW ORLEANS - A big leaseholder in the massive Tuscaloosa marine shale oil field has run into problems.
Houston-based Goodrich Petroleum says a well in Amite, Mississippi near the Louisiana border will be delayed until the company can unclog it.
The well was near completion and had begun to produce oil and gas when it became clogged.
The company expects to have it finished in early 2014.
The Tuscaloosa oil field covers central Louisiana and southwest Mississippi.
