Yesterday, the court officially re-opened the BK case against Treaty Energy Corporation with the explicit instruction that it was determine damages against the petitioners for filing a case against the Company. You can read more in the filing document linked below. We will provide a larger update sometime around Jan. 18, 2013 when the "damages motion" is filed against the petitioners.

Again, contrary to statements made by the petitioners, Treaty Energy Corporation is NOT in bankruptcy and will not have an adversarial trial to determine damages. We are guaranteed damages under 303(i) of the bankruptcy code.
