My son & daughter-in-law have a traditional Thanksgiving for everyone.
We in turn do xmas at our house. The meal is guest-choice each year.

One year everyone wanted a breakfast.
I will never again try to cook a big breakfast for a dozen people
on a regular 4 burner stove.
Biscuits & gravy and fried potatoes & eggs & meat  cooked to order. etc.
Wife and I were asshole & elbow deep in trouble with that deal.
Got it done but won't do it ever again.
