Message received. That "next chapter" could also reveal what happened in 1975. After then Assistant Secretary of Health, Dr. Roger O. Egeberg recommended in 1970 that cannabis be assigned Schedule 1 by default until studies could scientifically investigate the effects of the "active ingredient" (i.e., THC), the govt commissioned a study. -- convinced as they were that cannabis induced cancer. Instead, "the Medical College of Virginia (1974-75) led by Dr. Albert Munson showed that cannabis kills cancer cells. They discovered that ‘THC slowed the growth of three kinds of cancer; lung, breast and virus-induced leukemia.’ The Virginia study group was federally shut down and all further marijuana/tumor research was abandoned."
