I'm an anesthesiologist practicing in so cal. In our practice we do all our own cases and most days are fine but I wouldn't describe it as low stress. We provide services for a busy trauma center and take call every 3 days. Practicing medicine anywhere in any specialty these days is challenging and that trend will only continue.
