In 1953, the French government removed cannabis from their official Pharmacopoeia. However, in June of 2013, France, known to be repressive in regard to mj, legalized medical cannabis. Another big door re-opens. It's interesting then that French banking giant Natixis is apparently getting into the act over at PJ. The times they are a changing.
