When a library is bought or sold ownership goes with it. The creator of the music has rights to royalties from the recordings. MPIX ownership of the library gives them rights to package/duplicate even lease the music to others, but royalties must still be paid to mainly the writers and sometimes the performers depending on the age of the recording. Performance royalties are not always ongoing with older recordings.
