Together the two companies will operate 48 data centers across the globe, provide access to extensive national and global telecommunications networks and feature a customer list that includes many of the largest multinational companies.

Global reach is expected to be increasingly important in the cloud computing market as multinational customers begin to seek out service providers who can meet their requirements across geographies.
