Total guess: AEGY didnt fulfill their end of the deal for the exclusive marketing agreement, never issued the divvy, so the contract is broken or nullified and the PJ intellectual property is retained by iEquity and acquired by SKTO.

AEGY is just a dirty shell. I don't think there are any real life differences between any iEquity family members other than iEquity offloading risk into different buckets.
