well I just got off the phone with my broker also. As long as CDFT is dtc eligible and the cert is deregistered it shouldn't be problem dropping the cert into your account. they may charge a fee as mine will. the only difference is the way they handle the cert depending on where the company stands with trading. this means whether otc or nyse. Keep in mind this is the Canadian side.

they are pretty strict with DTC regulations so if mine allows it you shouldn't have any problem south of the border. When all said and done it'll end up costing approx 1k before selling. this would include the first 104.00.
