IANAL (I am not a lawyer): There are several debts that are non-dischargeable in a bankruptcy. Bad faith claims filed in a bankruptcy are non-dischargeable in a personal bankruptcy due to them being court assigned damages. Neither are education loans, personal injury claims, child support claims and tax debts (exceptions do apply to all of these).
All of these are things our attorneys are aware of.
