Reese Witherspoon  popped up in Washington DC to take care of her latest duty as  Avon 's global ambassador today. She wore a simple black dress and Avon's silver "Circle of Support" necklace, the proceeds of which go to the Avon Foundation to aid their fight against domestic violence. Reese was joined by Avon CEO Andrea Jung as well as Andrea Murta from Brazil's  Claudia  magazine. She presented Andrea Murta with an Avon Communications honor for her work as a leader in the fight against domestic violence. Reese's trip across the country is just her latest in a string of travels including a recent stop in Seoul to  promote This Means War  and a visit to NYC, where she checked out  The Book of Mormon  on Broadway.
