Since I see its a subject of much serious debate on some boards,wild turkeys do fly- amazingly well for such large birds -and roost very noisily high in trees at night-so noisily that nearby dwellers sometimes illegally kill them out of hunting season=-did u see the tv show whereby a guy raised them from chicks, imprinting as their mother for their 1st 9 months until they left- similar to the family movie "Fly Away Home"
