I'm convinced it's a brazen forgery, and poorly executed. The letter writer, who can't spell, implies that only charities are worthy of renting the space by asserting that iEquity was at first refused and then received under a charity designation. This is ridiculous. The Dan Elron Center advertises its space for rent (starting from minimium $2000 per event) for corporations. There's no qualification the organization must be a "charity."
"Perfectly situated on Southern California’s legendary surf beach where the mountains meet the sea, the Dan Eldon Center for Creative Activism is a premier place for your next event, corporate meeting, screening, art exhibition or “happening”. Located on the top floor of a landmark building on the border of Santa Monica and Malibu (above the American Apparel Building ) the space offers stunning panoramic views from Palos Verdes to Topanga Beach."
